Commissioning a custom pet portrait is easy. Here's how:

It starts with a photo. You can either email or snail mail me your favorite shot or shots of your pet--the closer and clearer the better. Close-up headshots have the most impact. I will return your photos to you along with your painting.

Tell me your preference for background color. My signature backgrounds are a blend of several shades and tones of your selected hue.

Specify the size canvas you'd like. Sizes and pricing are listed in the sidebar to the right. If you're unsure whether you'd like square or rectangle, we can confer based on the orientation of the photo you provide and your type of pet.

I’ll complete your original, custom portrait within 2 to 3 weeks. It will then arrive safely wrapped and shipped to your door.

Open your package and squeal with delight! Find a place of honor in your home to display your custom artwork...or...surprise your friend or significant other and watch them squeal with delight.
GUARANTEE: If for any reason you don't absolutely love your Critters & Canvas custom pet portrait, you pay nothing! Just return the canvas to me in its original condition and packaging--return shipping paid by Critters & Canvas.
LEGAL STUFF: Although you own the original artwork, the artist (that’s me) retains the rights to make and sell prints of it.
